The Student Club of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, organized the traditional Lanna welcoming event, "Hub Kwan Nong La, Pa Ma Kin Khantoke," for the 2026 academic year. Assistant Professor Dr. Phennapha Klangsinsirikul, Dean of the Faculty, presided over the ceremony.

The event was held to warmly welcome freshmen according to beautiful Lanna traditions and to introduce Northern Thai culture to students from other regions. Furthermore, it aimed to foster a strong, close-knit relationship and a sense of warmth between the faculty members and the students. The ceremony took place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Sala Ang Kaew, Chiang Mai University.
