Miss Pattaraporn Phukhamang, a third-year Medical Technology student, claimed the first prize at the 14th Research to Market (R2M) National Competition. Her winning business plan was developed from a research innovation titled "Ready-to-Use Dry Staining Kit for Reticulocytes" (immature red blood cells). The research was founded and advised by Associate Professor Dr. Suwit Duangmano. The event took place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the Administration Building of the Northeastern Regional Science Park 1 in Khon Kaen Province.

This remarkable achievement is the result of strong collaboration among the researcher who generated the core knowledge, the student who crafted the business plan, and the supporting units dedicated to driving research toward practical and commercial utilization. Furthermore, the "Builds CMU" initiative played a crucial role in empowering students to expand upon research concepts and recognize viable business opportunities arising from the university's innovations.
