The Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS), Chiang Mai University, led by Professor Dr. SAKORN PORNPRASERT, Dean, in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Associate Professor Dr. ROSSARIN OSATHANUNKUL, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, along with executive members and faculty staff, held a consultative meeting to establish guidelines for a Social Return on Investment (SROI) evaluation for the "Napneung" project. Operated under the AMS-PHPT Research Collaboration unit, the meeting aimed to framework the social impact valuation generated by the research project and its healthcare services. The session took place at Meeting Room 1, Building 2, Faculty of AMS, Chiang Mai University, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

The "Napneung" project is an initiative by the AMS-PHPT Research Collaboration that focuses on developing health systems and improving access to health screenings and infectious disease testing to enhance the quality of life for the public. This partnership with the Faculty of Economics to implement SROI tools will translate medical and public health outcomes into clear social and economic values. This evaluation will not only demonstrate the cost-effectiveness and tangible benefits received by the community but will also provide essential data to support future public health policy development.
