Ms. PATTARAPORN PHUKHAMANG, a 3rd-year Medical Technology student from the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS), Chiang Mai University, along with her cross-disciplinary student team from Chiang Mai University named "SmartRetic," secured the 1st Runner-Up award at the 14th Research to Market (R2M) competition.

The team won the award for their innovative project: "A Ready-to-Use Dry Staining Kit for Reticulocytes," designed to enhance cell differentiation clarity under light microscopes. This innovation is based on a research project supervised by Associate Professor Dr. SUWIT DUANGMANO, a faculty member of the Department of Medical Technology, Faculty of AMS, Chiang Mai University. The final round of the competition took place on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Mae Fah Luang University.
