The Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS), Chiang Mai University, organized its annual Fire Prevention and Earthquake Emergency Preparedness Training for the 2026 academic year. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Sakorn Pornprasert, Dean of the Faculty of AMS.

The faculty was honored to have expert guest speakers from the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, Chiang Mai Municipality, to lead the educational sessions. The training aimed to equip staff and students with essential safety protocols and the correct usage of emergency equipment. The program also included practical evacuation drills for both fire and earthquake scenarios, alongside basic first-aid training to assist victims during a crisis.

The event took place at the Emeritus Professor Dr. Chairoj Saengudom Meeting Room, 12th Floor, Building 2, Faculty of AMS, and the Bureau of Highways 1 (Chiang Mai).
