The Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS), Chiang Mai University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Aatit Paungmali, Associate Dean, alongside Associate Professor Dr. Ratchada Cressey, Assistant Dean, and Assistant Professor Dr. Woottichai Khamduang, faculty member of the Department of Medical Technology, served on the judging panel for student project presentations under the UT Austin–CMU Maymester Program. The session was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Worakanya Buranaphatthana, Assistant to the President of Chiang Mai University, and took place on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the Phraya Srivisaravacha Conference Room, Chiang Mai University.

During the presentations, Chiang Mai University students actively exchanged insights and brainstormed creatively with students from The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin), USA. Together, they developed innovative approaches and tools to address community and healthcare challenges by integrating cross-disciplinary knowledge encompassing medical sciences, engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), and health technology. This collaborative initiative significantly promotes internationalization and nurtures the potential of students to become global innovators.
