The Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS), Chiang Mai University, organized the 2026 Graduate Research Seminar under the theme “Integrative Health Sciences: Shaping the Future through Translational Research.” The event was presided over by Professor Dr. Sakorn Pornprasert, Dean of the Faculty. The seminar aimed to enhance graduate students' research presentation skills, enrich their knowledge of modern health sciences and technology through insights from international experts, and foster critical thinking alongside multidisciplinary research development skills. The event took place from May 28–29, 2026, at the Emeritus Professor Dr. Chairoj Saengudom Conference Room, 12th Floor, Building 2, AMS CMU.

The seminar featured a lineup of distinguished keynote lectures, including:

  • "From Innovation to Impact: Translating Health Research into Real-World Applications: Challenges and Future Directions" – delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Tanyanuparb Anantana, Vice President of Chiang Mai University.
  • "From Big Data to Better Lives: Building a Global Well-being Society through Preventive Medicine" – delivered by Prof. Dr. Ken Itoh from the Department of Stress Response Science, Hirosaki University, Japan.
  • "The Foot Core System and Its Role in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation: From Clinics to Laboratory" – delivered by Prof. Dr. Chich-Haung Richard Yang from the Department of Physical Therapy, Tzu Chi University (TCU), Taiwan.
