Three 4th-year Physical Therapy students from the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS), Chiang Mai University—Mr. Wirat Dechakun, Mr. Peeranat Ngen-inta, and Ms. Rattaporn Boonchiang—were selected to present their innovative project, "BalanSync Plus: A Motion Analysis System for Confident Strides in the Elderly." The project was developed under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Kittichai Wantanajittikul from the Department of Radiologic Technology and Assistant Professor Dr. Siriphan Kongsawasdi from the Department of Physical Therapy.

The presentation took place at the "Thailand Inventors’ Day Road Show 2026" exhibition, organized by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) from May 24–25, 2026, at the Chiang Mai Grandview Hotel. The event aimed to inspire creativity, spark new ideas, and promote the commercial and practical extension of research and innovation to sustainably improve the economy, society, and the public's quality of life.

"BalanSync Plus" is an advanced motion analysis system designed to assess and enhance the gait and mobility of older adults. By applying technology to support healthcare in an aging society, this innovation effectively elevates the quality of life and boosts confidence in elderly movement.
