Faculty members and graduate students from the Department of Occupational Therapy, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, participated and presented their research at the 19th World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) Congress 2026. The event was held from February 9–12, 2026, at BITEC Bangna, Bangkok.
The following research works were presented at the congress:
- “A survey on the current use and influencing factors of robotic training in upper limb rehabilitation among occupational therapists in Thailand” Presented by: Lecturer Chirathip Thawisuk, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sopida Apichai, Dr. Waranya Chingchit, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jananya Panyamee Dhippayom. (This work was selected as one of the top 100 posters for the Showcase session)
- “Occupational adaptation in action: A qualitative study on occupational therapy services for stroke survivors” (e-poster) Presented by: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jananya Panyamee Dhippayom.
- “Dog-rearing experiences affecting the mental health of older people in the community” (e-poster) Presented by: Asst. Prof. Dr. Jiranan Griffiths.
- “Factors influencing occupation-based practice (OBP) implementation among Thai occupational therapists” (e-poster) Presented by: Ms. Chalanda Janton (Ph.D. student in Biomedical Sciences).
