The LUCENT International Collaboration research team, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Woottichai Khamduang and Dr. Nicole Ngo-Giang-Huong, recently partnered with Grade 3 teachers from the Chiang Mai University Demonstration School to organize the “Train-the-Trainer Workshop on Zoonosis Education.” The workshop featured guest speaker Associate Professor Dr. Sangduen Moonsom from the Department of Protozoology, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University. The event was held at the ITPC Meeting Room, 55th Anniversary Building, Chiang Mai University Demonstration School (Kindergarten and Primary Section).
This hands-on workshop focused on providing teachers with practical experience regarding zoonotic diseases (diseases transmitted from animals to humans). It offered a platform for educators to exchange ideas, co-design, and develop teaching techniques tailored to primary school students, ensuring effective knowledge transfer in the classroom.
