Faculty members from the Department of Radiological Technology, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS), Chiang Mai University, served as distinguished guest speakers at the 13th Thai Community Medical Radiation Symposium. The event was held at the Rua Rasada Hotel, Trang Province, from February 4–6, 2026.

During the symposium, our faculty experts shared their knowledge in the following sessions:

  • Associate Professor Dr. Suchart Kothan delivered a lecture on "Scintillation-Based Radiation Imaging: Mechanisms and Application," exploring the journey from fundamental mechanisms to practical clinical uses.

  • Assistant Professor Dr. Sompong Sriburee lectured on "Special X-ray Views in Orthopedics." He also participated in a panel discussion titled "The Role of Professional Committees and the Seamless Path to Professional Councils," which focused on professional development and the enhancement of medical radiation standards.

Their participation highlights the pivotal role of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, in driving academic excellence and continuously supporting the professional development of medical radiation personnel at the national level.
