Professor Dr. Sakorn Pornprasert, Dean of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS), Chiang Mai University, along with Associate Professor Dr. Aatit Paungmali (Associate Dean), Associate Professor Dr. Ratchada Cressey (Assistant Dean), and Assistant Professor Dr. Anuchart Kaunnil from the Department of Occupational Therapy, extended a warm welcome to Associate Professor Dr. Cristina Reyes Smith.

Dr. Smith is a distinguished representative from the Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program, College of Health Professions (CHP), Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), USA, and currently serves as the Vice President of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

The visit to the Department of Occupational Therapy aimed to discuss and exchange ideas for future academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. The welcoming session was held at the 1st Floor Meeting Room, Building 2, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
