The Blood Service Science Program, Department of Medical Technology, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, organized the 14th Blood Service Science Workshop under the theme “Case Studies and Problem-Solving in Daily Blood Service Operations.” The event was presided over by Professor Dr. Sakorn Pornprasert, Dean of the Faculty, and held at Doi Suthep 1 Room, Kantary Hills Hotel, Chiang Mai, from 12–14 November 2025.

This workshop was conducted to review essential knowledge and practical skills, enabling participants to select and apply appropriate specialized techniques for detecting blood group antigen–antibody reactions that cannot be identified through basic methods. The program also strengthened the ability to select and prepare suitable blood components for different categories of patients.

In addition, the workshop provided opportunities for knowledge sharing, professional experience exchange, and network building among practitioners, fostering collaboration and mutual support for future professional development.
