Associate Professor Dr. Aatit Paungmali, Vice Dean, along with Associate Professor Dr. Ratchada Cressey and Assistant Professor Dr. Usanee Wattananandkul, Assistant Deans of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, warmly welcomed Mr. Gilles Pecassou, Mr. Xavier Mari, and Mr. Vincent Drapeau, executives from the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD), France, during their visit to the faculty. The purpose of the visit was to discuss future research collaboration and meet with researchers and students supported under the ongoing AMS-CMU and IRD partnership.
On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Ratchada Cressey presented an overview of the long-standing collaboration between the Faculty and IRD. The event also featured research presentations in the fields of Global Health and Infectious Diseases by Dr. Nicole Ngo-Giang-Huong, Assistant Professor Dr. Woottichai Khamduang, and the research team from the LUCENT International Collaboration Center, which plays a vital role in driving the faculty’s international research development. The meeting was held at Meeting Room 1, Building 2, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
