Professor Dr. Sakorn Pornprasert, Dean of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, along with administrators, faculty members, and staff, participated in Chiang Mai University’s 2025 Songkran Parade.

The event honored the traditional Lanna New Year (Pi Mai Mueang) and featured the revered university Buddha image, Phra Phuttha Phingkanakhon Aphimongkhon, enshrined on a ceremonial palanquin as part of the procession of sacred Buddha images from various temples across Chiang Mai Province.

The parade commenced at Nawarat Bridge, proceeded through Tha Phae Gate, and concluded at Wat Phra Singh Woramahawihan on Sunday, April 13, 2025.
