Associate Professor Dr. Suchart Kothan, along with Associate Professor Dr. Siriprapa Kaewjaeng and Dr. Nuttawadee Intachai, faculty members from the Department of Radiologic Technology, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, were invited to present their research as Invited Speakers at the Department of Physics, Kyungpook National University, South Korea.

This forum served as a platform for showcasing academic advancements and exchanging research ideas, with a focus on the development and enhancement of Ln³⁺-doped scintillation materials, which hold great potential for the design and innovation of next-generation radiation detection and measurement devices. The collaboration is part of an ongoing research partnership between Prof. HongJoo Kim, Director of the Center for High Energy Physics, and the Radiology and Medical Imaging Research Center, Department of Radiologic Technology, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University.

Additionally, Dr. Yaowaluk Tariwong, a postdoctoral researcher, and Ms. Ornnattha Ornketphon, a master's student in Radiologic Technology, had the opportunity to present their research at the CHEP Joint International Workshop: Detector Development for High Energy Physics and Various Applications & 7th Luminescence Materials Workshop, held in Jeongseon, South Korea, from February 11–14, 2025.
