Assistant Professor Dr. Suwit Duangmano, a faculty member of the Department of Medical Technology, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, received the National Research Award in the Invention and Innovation Category (Medical Science Field) for 2025. The award was graciously bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at the Thailand Inventors’ Day 2025 event, held at Event Hall 103, Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna, Bangkok, on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
Thailand Inventors’ Day 2025 was organized under the theme “Thai Inventions and Innovations: National Challenges”. The event featured various exhibitions, including a royal tribute exhibition, the National Research Award Exhibition, and showcases of inventions and innovations from domestic and international organizations. Additionally, it hosted the International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation, and Technology Exposition (IPITEx 2025), as well as competitions such as the Thailand New Gen Inventors Award 2025 (I-New Gen Award 2025) and I-New Gen Junior Award 2025.
