>>Master of Science Program
            There are four more graduate programs leading to Master’s degrees in Medical Technology, Occupational Therapy, Movement and Exercise Sciences and  Medical Radiation Sciences.

 

Master of Science Program in Medical Technology

A two-year program that enables students to obtain in-depth knowledge concerning laboratory sciences and how to conduct biomedical research in selected areas, such as clinical microbiology, clinical chemistry, clinical microscopy, clinical immunology or blood banking.

D. Academic Activities

  1. The whole or part of a thesis must be published or accepted for publication in a peer reviewed journal or academic media which is accepted for the program, or presented in an international or national conference with peer reviewed proceeding. At least one publication or proceeding is required for the program and student must be the first name at least one paper.
  2. Students have to report their thesis progression to the Curriculum administrative committee every semester.

Master of Science Program in Medical Radiation Sciences

A two-year program providing in-depth training in Medical Radiation Sciences. The program enables graduates to create and conduct research efficiently. Advanced skills in Radiologic Technology are emphasized.

D. Academic Activities

1.    Students must present, a seminar in the journal club seminar format on the topic related to his/her thesis at least one seminar per semester.
2.    Students have to attend seminar at least 80 percent of the regularly journal club seminar schedule in the semester.                      
3.    The whole or part of a thesis must be published/accepted for publication in journal or an academic media which is accepted in that program, or presented in the international conference with proceedings which have an editorial board at least 1 full academic paper. Published paper for graduation, student must be the first name at least 1 paper.
4.    Student has to report the thesis progression, using the graduate school format, to the Graduate school every semester, by approval of the Head of the Curriculum administrative committee of the faculty.

Master of Science Program in Occupational Therapy

A two-year program providing students with in-depth knowledge regarding advances and contemporary issues in occupational therapy. The program also enables students to conduct research in our four major areas, including physical dysfunction, pediatrics, geriatrics, and mental health.

           Apart from a study of all requirement courses with the grade point average at not less than 3.00 from a system of four score levels or equivalence, students may have to study additional subjects as requested (if there is any) by the thesis’s advisors. 

D. Academic activities
    1)    Student must participate academic seminar every session through the study course, and presents research topics relevant to thesis, and reports the thesis progression, at least once per semester, for a minimal period of 4 semesters.  Practical guidelines for students are designated by the curriculum committees.    
    2)    Defense of thesis and pass the final oral examination with an approval of a committee appointed by the university.
    3)    Thesis or part of it has to be published or accepted to publish in journals, academic presses or a proceeding in a conference; student must be the first author, at least 1 article.

Master of Science Program in Movement and Exercise Science

A two-year program that focuses on the measurement and evaluation of human motion, exercise physiology, advanced motor control, and applied biomechanics with applications to exercise and therapeutic rehabilitation. Instruction in Health Research Methods and Statistics is included. Graduates will have developed and enhanced their research skills.

1.    A student has to participate in all academic seminars of the discipline throughout the year long study and has to present a seminar on topic related to their thesis as well as report thesis progression at least once per semester, with a total of not less than 4 semesters. Procedure is followed by the research program committee.
2.    A student has to be a presenter and attend any special lectures carrying by guest speakers in all semesters according to the study plan.
3.    The whole or part of a thesis must be published/accepted for publication in journal or an academic media which the first author must be the student’s name at least 1 full academic paper.
4.    A students has to present, or his/her thesis work is accepted, either oral or poster, for presentation in academic conferences at least one time.
5.    A students has to report thesis progression to the Curriculum administrative committee every year.
6.    A students has to report the thesis progression, using the graduate school format, to the Graduate school every semester, for approval by the Chairman of the Graduate Study Committee.

A two-year program providing students with in-depth knowledge regarding advances and contemporary issues in communication science and disorders. The program also enables students to conduct research in communication science and disorders which involve impairments in hearing, speech, voice, resonance, fluency, swallowing, and language processes under professional ethics. In order to enhance the quality of life in patients’ sustainability.
